I kinda left you all hanging with that last post... almost a month ago! Moving into a new house WITHOUT INTERNET ACCESS FOR TWO WEEKS can seriously cramp one's blogging style...

Speaking of our new place, here's a picture of the boys on the front step the morning we got the keys (Andrew's holding the keys up).
Keys to our new house!

We've been settling in and slowly making our way through the mountain of boxes and bins and crates that need to be sorted through, and whose contents all need new homes. We're arranging and re-arranging and trying to figure out how best to make this house work for us.

And we're really enjoying it.

(The house, that is. Not so much the unpacking.)

You might have to indulge me a bit in the weeks and months that follow as my head -and by extension this blog- is constantly full of design ideas. I'll try to get some 'before' shots posted along with the 'in-progress' ones as we work towards the 'afters'. Those of you who follow my boards on Pinterest probably won't be surprised by some of what you see.

Oh, and in the midst of all this, we're also homeschooling again.

Cause I don't have enough to do.

But so far we're enjoying that too.

Thanks for sticking with me over the summer. I'll try to pop in here more regularly from now on.

  1. I can't wait to see some of your design ideas! Especially since that is what I'm thinking about 80% of the time these days. I might have to start posting more of my projects so you can see what I'm up to, but I'm such a lazy blogger...as you already know. :)

  3. Yay... what a brilliant photo!! And way to go to start homeschooling again. Somehow I had a hunch you would... it's just in your blood!!! No doubt the boys are happy, and Eloise will be even more brilliant as she gets to take it all in at her own pace. Hope you are having fun... sure sounds (um, reads) like it. big hugs to you all.
