It's pretty good, and I've seen some neat edits done in Picnik, too.

@Heather You recognized him? Too funny. Do you ever play at I heart faces? I really enjoy it.

@Lynn I know, eh? Post processing really is fun though. I almost enjoy it as much as taking the pictures themselves.

@Erin I've learned a ton from that site too. Love, love, love it!

@Kellie I heard about Picnik a loooooong time ago, but never really looked into it. It looks fun and really user friendly. When I edit pictures, I often forget to even think about the rotate tool. I need to get in the habit of using it more.

Thanks for all your comments!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07573136626710844845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6353304674398552352.post-52578343044173934962009-08-15T22:21:58.399-04:002009-08-15T22:21:58.399-04:00You were so sweet to comment on my version of your...You were so sweet to comment on my version of your photo. It's a great photo! Yeah, I do all my editing in the free version of Picnik. I don't do any fancy "up this color by this percent, change this color..." or patching certain pixels with other pixels. Too much work! I do LOVE the reverse soften (and the blemish remover) tool! They make a big impact and they are easy. I just went back and edited a bunch of pictures from when my daugther was in infant... especially some from when she had baby acne. I didn't use the blemish remover, but I did use the reverse soften tool on her skin. Oh my gosh - it made a HUGE difference. The new photos looked great. I couldn't believe it. It did leave a little variation in color, which I actually liked so she didn't look totally fake. But, it wasn't blotchy or harsh. I also like taking a photo with some really strong (too strong) colors and putting it to about 5-10% sepia (mostly color). It really just knocks out the distracting bit. I'm pretty new to photography and post-processing, and these tricks have been my greatest find! I did just learn how to rotate photos (thanks to Fix it Friday), and that's a pretty cool feature too.

Good luck to you!!
KellieKelliehttp://www.viewpointimages.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6353304674398552352.post-9744213569647681412009-08-15T22:11:32.900-04:002009-08-15T22:11:32.900-04:00Thank you so much!
